the PROPOSAL {a.sneakpeek}

So I am very excited to give you a little taste of our exciting Saturday.  It was so hard to pick favorite images  to share as it was an especially, special shoot.  And I think you will see why =)Meet Jordan and Joni. Today we ventured out to a little path were Jordan and Joni walk Cooper (the dog!) practically everyday.  It was cool, but sunny and the wind was blowing big, swirling snow crystals from the trees.  A perfect day and place for a great couples session.  Jordan, Joni and Cooper were an amazing little family.   There was so much love.

And very much to Joni's surprise,  Jordan was about to express that love in a way she didn't see coming. It was such an amazing and powerful moment.  A happy tear or two were shed;  Jo and I almost got a little caught up in the moment ourselves but managed to keep it together =).

Jordan and Joni, it was an absolute honour to be a part of such an amazing day.  You are such stunning couple; so clearly suited for each other.  Jo and I just chatted the whole way home about how perfect the day was.  And Jordan you totally rocked that proposal!!  I wish you guys all the best in your future together =)  I can't wait to show you the rest of the photos.  ENJOY!!!Truly,KarmenAs always thanks so much for coming Jo!  Couldn't have done it without ya ♥

What is the BEST Christmas Gift you have ever recieved {or given}

Can you believe it!!! Christmas is only a month and a half away!! The malls are playing jingle bells, decorations are up on the street posts, and thank goodness there hasn't been much snow so far. Anyone can see it, the feeling of Christmas is definitely starting to surround us.And here is something cool that I am offering this year as a neat gift idea; gift certificates for photo sessions!!! Nobodies perfect and I would be lying if I said that I am doing everything I possibly can to reduce my impact on my environment; how many times have I got to the grocery store and realized I forgot my cloth bags or drove when I could of walked. I am so in love with this GROWTH {maternity} session. It was so natural and so much fun! It certainly helped that we had such a gorgeous day to hang out at the lake =) What more can I say, other than, that you guys looked amazing and I can't wait to meet your little girl! Ok, ok. Here you go girls. Heidi and Jo, two of my bestest friends have been complaining because I haven't posted any of their photos!! Ooops, guess I got a little busy and forgot to make sure that to of the coolest people in the world had super awesome new Facebook profile pics!But finally they are here; thanks again so much ladies for spending your weekends hanging out and helping me shoot. I so much appreciate it, you help me along so much. P.S. Everyone!This lovely woman is Heather, she is studying hair and make-up and did her own for this shoot.  And she did a great job I might add!
