“Is anyone sitting there?!” I said while balancing a plate of food and glass of wine.
He said “No, it’s all yours.”
And I cheered a silent ‘hoooray!’ because I was starving, and the wine was free. So far my day of solo travel had only occasionally been haunted by that painful kind of awkward. You know, the kind that almost always comes along with navigating new environments and experiences. And, dang, dare I say this was shaping up to be a good night.
I honestly can’t remember how the next bit went. But I quite quickly came to the realization that I had parked my clueless little self right beside the star of the show….
OK, so here's the thing, this is really uncomfortable to talk about but I am going to anyways because I think these days transparency is everything. So here we go (let's hope I don't make a mess of this). Why is professional photography 'expensive'?

So here is a little shoot from the Red Deer Boudoir Marathon. This beautiful lady is my inspiration, mentor and friend, not to mention my MOTHER =) Yup, me and my 7 little sisters and brother are more than proud to call this amazing women mom. We know that with grown daughters, crazy teenagers and busy littles you don't get to enjoy alot of 'me' time =) So I ultimately hope that this shoot gave you a little of that!! YAY!!! So I have a bit of a confession to make..... shhh. I am a little...ok alot... technologically impaired. It is somewhat of a sad state to be in when you rely on websites and blogs and changing camera equipment. Thankfully, though, I have an amazing husband who is my personal IT guy. HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO BRADLEY =) But sometimes he is busy and I am left to my own devices. Which is why it took me the last 6 months to figure out how to make and put a video on this very blog. But it has finally been done! And I couldn't be more proud.You will notice a new page called PORTFOLIO. And that is where, from now on, you can check out my boudoir portfolio. It is just a way to check out the goods without having to go through all the blog posts....... But, you should probably check them out too, since there is lots of awesome extra stuff.
